After graduating from college with a degree in Computing Graphics Engineering, she worked as a design engineer for Stryker Medical  for 5 years in their Bio Medical Prosthetic Implant division. In addition to her love of engineering and technology, it was here where she developed and grew in her knowledge of the medical field of orthopedics and human anatomy, designing hip and knee implants using 3D CAD technologies.   She discovered a passion for teaching when she was asked to conduct CAD technology classes at the corporate headquarters.  She enjoyed it so much, she also started teaching part time as an adjunct professor at a local college.

It was a passion that ultimately led her to a full time teaching and technology position at an exclusive nearby public magnet school.    She remained immersed in education and  and technology for the next 20 years.

Tim has more than three decades of experience in voicing and the production of audio for medical training and marketing material for such companies as Kaiser-Permentente MemorialCare Heath System, Beckman Coulter, Allergan, Toshiba Medical, Medison, Eli Lilly, Medtronic, Bausch & Lomb Surgical, Bio-Rad Laboratories, and Eyeonics among others.

For ten years Tim was the primary English male voice for Kaiser-Permanente’s popular HealthPhone series of pre-recorded health information, accessed via telephone. His voice is described as warm, friendly & professional sounding.

Tim is currently a full time “media” recording engineer & producer as well as a professional voice talent located in Orange County, CA. His voiceover experience includes voices for corporate and industrial narrations, e-learning and online learning tutorials, telephone voice mail, IVR, and on hold greetings, commercials, infomercials, live corporate events, along with Government/Educational promotional videos and advertising.

Tim also has a personal background immersed in the medical industry. Tim’s dad was a busy Southern California physician, his sister is an R.N and his wife is a licensed Radiologic Technologist. During his college years Tim supported himself with a job at Long Beach Community Hospital. Medical discussions have been a frequent part of dinner table conversation.

That background in medical terminology has come in handy in the sound studio. That is why medical training content providers have also relied on Tim’s expertise – including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Medcom-Trainex, Concept Media, and Hypnobabies. Tim and his company, Creative Media Recording have provided medical audio instructional material (including multi-lingual projects) for Orange County’s county healthcare administration agency, Cal-Optima.
